The Cinnabon Cinnawaffle is Something You Need To Try
When it comes to waffles, I am certainly an eating expert. Some of my favorite waffles include a bananas foster and red velvet, but now The Cinnabon Waffle or Cinnawaffle is the best waffle ever.
If you follow my on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook (subtle hint: clink the links to follow me), you know that when it comes to Cinnabon, I have an ooey-gooey soft spot for this airport and mall-based pastry.
I have been a special guest host of Cinnabon’s weekly Twitter chat, #SweetTalk, but more importantly I have eaten their ‘Bons for many years.

However, when I am at home and need a quick Cinnabon fix, I always pick up a tube of Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls with Icing.
I thought to myself, “Self, you know what would be awesome? Why don’t we try to put one of the Cinnabon Rolls into a waffle maker to see if we can make a Cinnabon Waffle, which I’ve now named The Cinnawaffle.
You’ll be amazed at how quick and easy it is to make the Cinnawaffle. All you have to do is heat up your waffle iron. While the waffle iron is heating up, open the tube of Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. But watch out, that air pop can be scary!
Once the waffle iron is nice and hot, spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. We prefer canola.
Next you will separate the eight cinnamon rolls and depending on your waffle iron, place either two or four Cinnabon Cinnamon rolls into the center of each waffle section.
Close the lid of your waffle iron, pour yourself a cup of coffee and in three or so minutes your Cinnawaffles will be done cooking. Me, I’m lazy. Our waffle iron has a light on it that turns off once the waffle is properly cooked.
Once you think the proper amount of time has passed, open your waffle iron. Our Cinnawaffles stuck to the top of the waffle iron because they didn’t fill up each waffle section, but that’s okay. Just grab a form and put in to a bowl or plate for eating.
We then decided to take the container of icing and place into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 20 seconds and voilà, the icing was perfectly melted for either drizzling on to or dipping the Cinnawaffle.
The Cinnabon Cinnawaffle was a great way to start of our breakfast morning. It was so easy to make and we didn’t have the mess of mixing up waffle batter.
