I Miss My Girl Mercedes
The salt washed away.
In the sun she’s glistening.
My girl Mercedes.
I wrote this haiku in August of 2014, as a series of “haiku challenges” with Mercedes Benz. As you can see in the tweet below, product placement poetry is alive and well. Alas I traded her in for another vehicle, for which I also adore. In fact, I call the voice in my navigation system Sheila.
The series of interactions below was actually a series of perhaps five or six haiku. The haiku challenge word of the day was salt.
