Save Some Cash with Google Chromecast
If you’re looking to cut-the-cord from your cable company, consider the Google Chromecast to save some cash.
With just a few taps, the Google Chromecast is designed to make the most of your apps already on your phone.
To top it off, you can pick on up right here from Best Buy for only $35.00, so why not give it a try!
You see, this past fall my eldest lad headed off to Miami University for his senior year of college. He is living in a house and instead of paying for high-priced cabled television, they cut the cord.
They went to streaming devices, such as the Google Chromecast.
See It. Stream It.
One of the awesome things about the Google Chromecast is it works with most of your streaming apps. There are over 2,000 apps you can use such as HBO Now, Netlflix and YouTube.
Just plug the Google Chromecast in to the HDMI port on your TV and power up the device. Then watch some of your most favorite web entertainment or TV shows. You can also stream photos on your TV from your connected device, as this feature is really nice.
Given the built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi (which is like, super duper fast), the Google Chromecast won’t slow you down. Depending on your network, speeds typically range from 433 megabits per second, all the way up to several gigabits per second. 802.11ac Wi-Fi also employs “beamforming” technology that sends signals directly to your devices. I call that a win-win for streamin’.
Another cool feature is that if you also have Google Home, you can control you TV hand-free by steaming with your voice.
Perhaps you’ll say, “Hey, Google, play The Walking Dead on Netflix on my TV.”
To me – in the words of Larry David – pretty, pretty awesome.
So if you’re looking for a great steaming alternative at a very reasonable price, the Google Chromecast from Best Buy will save you some of your hard-earned cash. Hurry quick though as these savings might not last.
