The Cinqku Challenge for today is to write a cinqku poem using the word ‘atone.’

The reason why I chose the word atone for today is that today also happens to be Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. Yom Kippur is celebrated by Jews all around the word marking the 10th and final day of the holiest 10 days of Judiasm. It is said that on Rosh Hashanah (1st day of the Jewish New Year) it is written and on Yom Kipper it is sealed.

During these 10 holy days, it is a time for reflection on the previous year, as well as what the next year will bring.

Have fun with this prompt.
